Kiwi fruit picking is nearly here.

The first to arrive will get the work.  We give work priority to people who choose to stay in our backpackers for the time the job lasts.

How soon can you arrive?

We recommend arriving as soon as you can to secure your job for this season, some people are starting work immediately, (or within 1 – 2 days) when people commit to working the full season. There will be plenty of work during the end of March – beginning of April for the main Kiwi harvest season, but be sure to have some money in reserve as there is at times variable starts until the season starts in full earnest.

We are located in the beautiful Bay of Plenty and have loads of awesome activities, to enjoy just let us know how we can help. We also have the odd party like our 2007 Halloween party and shared dinner’s etc.

As for the work we are associate members of the kiwifruit contractors association and refer people to trustworthy employers who are expected to be paying good rates and all taxes directly to IRD. All workers are expected to have valid working permits, working holiday visa etc, an IRD number and a bank account, and be prepared to work 1 – 3 months. Most of the work in this area is seasonal kiwifruit work.
